The Sacred Labyrinth: A Walking Meditation

It is solved by walking. St. Augustine

Since ancient times sacred labyrinths have been used as tools for meditation, centering prayer, spiritual growth in sacred space and much more. In modern times, it is a metaphor for life, used for problem solving, stress reduction, calming the mind and spiritual renewal.

Mythic stories about labyrinths from Crete to Chartres, guidelines and approaches for walking the labyrinth, as well as its roots in sacred geometry will be covered..

Explore the beauty of La Casa de Maria’s newly installed sacred stone labyrinth. The Facilitators, who have explored and researched labyrinths worldwide, will lead a morning and afternoon walk. Each walk will have with a different theme, accompanied by meditative harp music. There will be ample time on your own for quiet reflection in nature for journaling, drawing and sharing insights. Bring comfortable shoes.
