As General Manager, you'll oversee every aspect of retreat center operations—from guest services, facilities, dining, and financial management to team development, community partnerships, and strategic growth. Working closely with the Board of Directors and key stakeholders, you'll build operational systems, grow a mission-aligned retreat calendar, and cultivate a culture of hospitality that honors La Casa's legacy while positioning it for long-term success. Are you highly organized, creative, and passionate about bringing meaningful programs and experiences to life? Southern California Retreat Foundation (SOCARE) is seeking a Program Planner to support the development, booking, and coordination of retreats and events across Big Bear Retreat Center and La Casa de Maria. Nestled in two of Southern California’s most beautiful natural settings, our retreat centers offer spaces for mindfulness, healing, personal growth, and connection. This role plays an important part in building a diverse, engaging, and mission-aligned programming calendar that brings together inspiring teachers, presenters, and communities.

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Programming to research new program opportunities, build relationships with presenters and retreat organizers, coordinate bookings and contracts, and manage the details that bring each program to life. You’ll collaborate with teams across both properties, track registration and program financials, and help ensure a seamless transition from initial inquiry through program delivery.
